COPPER TOP TABLE - DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
Ken and Mary are decorating their new home and wanted an alcove copper top table that would complement the bold gold, black and grey colors of their stone, kitchen counter top. In addition, the space for the dining table only allowed for a 44” wide copper table top, 4” shy of the space needed for a minimum of 12” for legroom.
The solution that met their design and space requirements was modifying the CCW #65 Mia table base for the racetrack oval form and placing the base plate legs at a 45 degree angle instead of a 90 degree angle. With two place settings on each side and one at each end, with this modification the table is stable and it is easy to scoot into the alcove… and, bottomline, it is exceptionally beautiful!
