Limited Warranty

We warrant our merchandise to be free of defects in material and workmanship. It is your responsibility to notify us of visible defects and variances within three days of delivery.

Commercial Use

Our warranty is non-transferrable and applies to residential (non-commercial) use only and is void if the furniture is used in what is considered to be a non-household setting unless specifically authorized, or misused, handled improperly, or repaired by any resource not authorized by Custom Copper Works.

Payment & Deposit Requirements

We require a 50% deposit to initiate orders. The final photo approval payment is due prior to the scheduling of the delivery.

Full Retail Value Shipping Insurance

Your furniture is covered by full retail value shipping insurance. The following receiving instructions apply.

When the shipment is delivered —

Sign delivery receipt only AFTER you have CAREFULLY checked the crate for outside damage. If there is apparent outside damage to the crate or pallet, take photos of the damage and then get your hammer and camera out. Tell the driver he is going to have to wait and DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING.

Take photos showing how it is packed, and then unpack the contents. If something is damaged, take photos, of both the crate and inside contents, to substantiate the insurance claim. Put the item back into the crate with the packing material until the claim has been settled. Make sure the driver sees the damage whether it is apparent and/or concealed damage.

There are two copies of the Delivery Receipt; one for you and one for the driver. Sign the delivery receipt marking on the receipt in detail that there is apparent and/or concealed damage (whatever the case is) and that it has been viewed by the driver. And then have the driver sign it. Do this on your copy and the driver’s copy.

Be certain that you do not throw away any of the packing material and best to keep everything together for “evidence” until advised otherwise by the insurance adjuster.

Let me know if you have to file a claim and we will help. If the crate has not been mishandled by the carrier, there will not be any damage.

In the event that there is no apparent outside damage, you have 3 days to unpack and check for concealed damage and file your claim.

REMEMBER: THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT. YOU ARE THE LOSS PAYEE WITH INSURANCE AT FULL RETAIL VALUE. TO FILE A CLAIM AND BE REIMBURSED, THE INSURANCE GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED.
